Six Flags Battleplan

To all my loyal Six-Flags-attending Scholars,
Tomorrow, 10/11, is the day that we storm the gates of Six Flags. We are going to meet at the In-N-Out Burger on Orange Grove at 9:00 in the morning. We are looking to leave as soon as possible, preferably 9:15 AT THE LATEST; if you're not there in time, then you're not going. The park opens at 10, and they close at midnight. If you are able and willing to stay that late, you may (myself and my sister are planning to stay until the end). If you need to leave early, make arrangements to be picked up BY SOMEONE ELSE, and INFORM US THAT YOU WILL BE LEAVING EARLY. Bring an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM of $20 for whatever you need; the food there is very expensive (a decent snack will cost about $10) and not very good, so we suggest that you bring your own water bottle and snacks, etc. With $20, you could probably buy a couple snacks to last you through the day, and maybe a soda. Don't forget your cell phone if you have one, and bring a camera if you want to take pictures. We are being driven by my father in his Sequoia; it seats seven comfortably, so we will all be going in the one car. If you have any sort of music that you would like to bring to listen to on the way, do it, but keep in mind that you're responsible for it. That's about it, so let's have fun tomorrow, and remember; DO TATSU LAST. YOU WILL SPOIL THE OTHER COASTERS IF YOU DON'T.

Six Flags Tickets

At the meeting, I said that we would accept money through the 29th of September, and if it wasn't in by then, you were out of luck. However, LESS THAN FIVE CSF members, INCLUDING THE OFFICERS, have turned in money, so the deadline has been extended to October 1. This is cutting it real close, so if you don't get the money in this Wednesday, October 1, 2008, I can't guarantee you will get your tickets, and if you don't, you won't be refunded. That's right; IF THE TICKETS DON'T COME IN TIME, WE WILL KEEP THE MONEY FOR THE CLUB. IF THE 29TH WAS A DEADLINE, THIS IS A DEAD-ER-LINE. GET. THE MONEY. IN.

PEACE.

Our Beloved Constitution

Not only are we awesome; we are now official! Below is our club's Constitution, officially immortalized in the annals of Hollywood High's Leadership records, as well as here on the blog for the use of later clubs. True to our sentiment of fighting normalcy (both the word and the idea it stands for), we've made a couple wacky inserts, particularly in Article III. Enjoy!

-Brennan Jackson, El Present-al-Dente

Our Next Meeting

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that we do not have a meeting tomorrow April 24th. Our next meeting will be May 1st I believe. I understand that this is parent teacher conference night. Unfortunately, we have not had a meeting in about a month due to the hectic and last minute scheduling which is not the fault of CSF or any of it's members. I hope that everyone can come and I understand that people want to leave (cause so do I). I really want to talk about All School Faire even though we have not been told about it, yet we want to be prepared. Also, we will not be able to go to the convalescent home due to not being able to have a meeting. I do however want to start planning our next event. Thanx again to everyone who is reading this.

With undying love for helping our community and getting into a good college,

Your pres., Elise Jackson
